We are looking for a foster or foster to adopt home.
Shelters are full everywhere. Requests come in daily. We can pull dogs into rescue and help, if we find foster homes. Without fosters and places for them to go, we cannot help them.
Here is another sweet face looking for a place to land. Meet Tucker.
Tucker is estimated to be around 5 years old. We’ve been told he is a sweet, laid-back fella that sometimes likes to romp around in the yard. Mostly he's content though just lounging around. He's pretty low maintenance.
Tucker previously lived in a home with a dog and was fine. If you’re interested, we will schedule a meet and greet at the shelter for you (and your dog if you have one at home to see how they get along).
Tucker had some hinky skin when he came into Animal Control, but with their TLC that has improved a lot. We will get him to our vets straight from the shelter if we pull him to get him checked over and completely vetted.
We are looking for either a foster or foster to adopt home. What’s the difference? A foster home will give him a safe, soft, loving place to crash while we work to get his vetting squared away and ready for a furever home. A foster-to-adopt home will do the same, but are also interested in adopting him once ready.
The application for either is the same. You can find that here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/foster/RMWV/Dog
Please note: Tucker
If you already have an app on file, please send us a PM and ask us to pull it if you are interested.
Supplies and vetting will be provided while under foster care.
