This senior fella is the bee’s knees.
His foster momma says he has such a fun little personality.
He loves being around people... and probably prefers people over dogs. He does well with the small dogs in the home.
A calmer, quiet home would be nice for Peanut. He is an older man and likes his older man space and pace.
He is very low energy and spends most of the day sleeping in Fomom’s office under the blanket.
He loves the bed, couch, recliner.. all the comfy spots.
He goes outside to potty, but will also use the puppy pads.
He loves to sit on Fomom’s lap or next to her. She says he is so cute when he taps her with his paw when he wants attention.
When she leaves and comes back home, he gets so happy & excited that he makes the funniest noises.
Recently, he started chasing their cats....they are working on that. So maybe a cat free home would be better.
He loves car rides.
He loves blankets and sleeps in bed with fosters and the other dogs.
Peanut is 9 years old. And completely vetted now.

Sweet senior PRINCE is looking for his forever people! Prince is a 9-year-old miniature pinscher who is looking to settle into a low-key home that appreciates just how special he is. He has so much love to give!!
Prince is a good boy who is the perfect mix of sweet and spunky. As a senior, he loves his nap time and enjoys being cuddled up with his people. He has done great with the other pets in his foster home too, including 7 cats and another min pin! He would do well in a home by himself or a home with respectful pet-friends.
Prince will make you laugh - he does this great bunny hop when he’s excited, and he loves being held in your arms like a baby. The way he head butts and nestles into you will surely melt your heart. His little zoomies are also great!! He knows basic commands, and is super food motivated and wants to please, so he would benefit from some practice and ongoing training. He’s alert, focused, and a good listener – seriously, he hears everything!
Prince is in good shape, walks well on a leash, gets around easily, and is good in the car. He is crate trained and housebroken. The only accidents he had in his foster home were when he was sick early on (poor guy!). He sleeps well through the night quietly.
When he came into rescue, he was emaciated and had kennel cough which led to quarantine in his foster home. He now has a clean bill of health, has been neutered, and his medical needs are under control. He does have dry skin resulting from thyroid issues which will require medication for the rest of his life (2x per day pill that he eats easily with food). He also has some osteo-arthritis that is managed with a monthly medication.
Prince enjoys the simple things in life; smelling smells, naps next to his people, a safe space, and good food. A quiet home will be best for him. He has been around both men and women in his foster home, but no small children for this guy (the fast movements of a child are just too much for this little manager to keep track of!). Though, older, quiet kids might be a possibility. Respect, understanding, and slow introductions are important for him. A dog-savvy home would also be a benefit.
Miniature pinschers are known for their strong personalities, and Prince is no exception. They are also one of the most loving and loyal dog breeds and make great companions. Prince will bond to the people he chooses and can be protective of the person he is with.
Thanks so much to his foster family for the amazing care they have given him since coming into rescue and loving him as they do.

Welcome Wishbone to the RMWV Crew.
This little fella has had it rough recently. He has hinky skin, long nails, fleas and not sure what else (if anything) is going on. But we got him now and will have him thoroughly checked out. Wishbone is heading to our vets for intake and to get his vet care started. He has a foster home to go to, to begin decompressing, healing, and us to learn more about him.
Please send him all your love and best thoughts. And keep an eye on the page for future updates.

Brady is 45-50lbs. Right at about 1 year. And fully vetted. We do think he would do best in a home without a lot of stairs.
Do you have room in your heart and home for a loving dog like Brady? This kind and gentle boy is ready to start a new chapter in life and find his forever family!
Brady has been through a lot in his short life, but he remains a sweet and playful dog who loves nothing more than spending time with his friends. He gets along great with other dogs and loves children. He loves to play and has even discovered a love for tennis balls. While Brady is still limited a little from his amputation, he is getting stronger every day and is ready to start exploring the world.
If you're looking for a loyal companion who will always be by your side, Brady is the perfect choice. He is already house and crate trained and enjoys snuggling up on the couch for movie nights. Don't miss out on the opportunity to welcome this amazing dog into your life and make him a part of your family!

Bluey is ready for a furever home.
This is the senior lady that was dumped in the parking lot of the Humane Society. We thought she had a tumor on her belly and pulled her into rescue. Our vets found that huge bulge on her belly was not a tumor but an inguinal hernia. We finally found a vet that performed the surgery on her 6 lbs little body. We also found out she has a heart murmur. She is feeling so much better and is ready for her forever home! She is people and dog friendly.
